Strike a Pose! [Behind the Scenes of the Paula Hian Woodmere Museum Photoshoot]

Located in Chestnut Hill, the Woodmere Museum is an incredible 19th century stone mansion on six acres of land. Woodmere is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums which is attributed to only three percent of museums in the United States. There are more than 8,000 works of art and nine galleries open to the public.

Since 1910, the museum has featured artists of Philadelphia. The Woodmere Museum brings art and nature together with its paintings and unique outdoor sculptures, creating the perfect backdrop to showcase Paula’s artistic and hand crafted designs.

The shoot started outside with the stunning Tasha strapless jumpsuit and cropped bolero. This jumpsuit and jacket combo is a slimming, classic outfit, looking absolutely gorgeous in front of Samuel Maitin’s colorful aluminum sculpture.

There were a number of surprise rainstorms during this photoshoot so we moved the shoot inside and out throughout the day, enabling more great photos! The museum staff was super supportive!

The model above wears Paula Hian’s bestselling marigold Ursula turbo twill jacket and Jolie high waisted turbo twill pencil skirt. This ensemble makes the perfect statement look- an edgy, modern presence while versatile for any occasion.

More rain!

After the rain stopped and the sun came out, everyone headed back outside to take some photos of the Leonnie Dress in the beautiful garden. The museum features a gorgeous secret garden that has even been showcased in Philadelphia Magazine and Daily Art Magazine

The model above is wearing the Leonnie Dress in light blue, yellow and rose; a color combination perfectly complemented by the vibrant flowers in the garden at the Woodmere Museum.

Having fun getting the last few shots amongst the beautiful artwork in the Helen Millard Children’s Gallery inside the museum before heading home!

What beautiful destination would you like to see for Paula Hian’s next photoshoot?
